Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J.K. Rowling, John Tiffany and Jack Thorne Review

Image
Hey guys! Today I will be reviewing Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Image Found Here: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/fe/Harry_Potter_and_the_Cursed_Child_Special_Rehearsal_Edition_Book_Cover.jpg Yes, I finally finished this book (can you call it a book) a couple of days ago. I think that this was an amazing script, because you CANNOT read it as a novel. It is, in fact, a script. There were so many really cool elements pulled into this novel. Because you think about all of these elements that you thought about when you are reading the Harry Potter series and you want these questions answered and those questions were either answered. I thought the characters were so intriguing and I also thought that it was such an interesting idea to carry one the beloved Harry Potter series.  It is though, not Harry Potter. You can tell. It isn't the same feeling that you get when you read it and you feel that the known characters are . . . different.  I did enj

Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder Review

Image
Hey guys, Today I will be reviewing Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder (I know it has taken me like 2 weeks to read it and put the review up, I'm sorry this is taking so long!) Image Found Here: http://somewherepostculture.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/poison_study_cover.jpg This book was truly captivating! After waiting many months and searching the high shelves, I finally got my hands on a copy of this book. This was such an alluring story and I really loved Valek and I am not very sure why. He was just a strong male leader, and I loved Yelena and Valek's relationship. The plot was fast paced and I was never bored when I was reading it. I finally understood why so many people love these books. I loved how Snyder dropped little pebbles of information throughout the text and then how they all pulled together in a nice little bow of death and magic. The writing was truly brilliant, I couldn't tell you how many times I would have liked to take out a notepad and writ

The Shadow Queen by C.J. Redwine Review

Image
Hey guys! Today I will be reviewing The Shadow Queen by C.J. Redwine. But bear with me, you guys, I read this book a while ago so this will not be a very detailed review, and it may not be totally true, I guess is a word I could use. Just saying, this review may be tinted by the fact that it has been many days since I have read the book and I have read other books since. So let's get onto the review! Image found here:http://600f88128e28816e9c27804d209ff50bad2a2d476387238ea9ac.r80.cf1.rackcdn.com/2016/02/shadowqueen-sneakpeek.jpg Let me just start by saying that I LOVE the artistry of this book. The cover is beautiful and it has a great texture with not RAISED font but it is cut out as if there is an actual apple on the page and it has been carved. The inner pages are beautiful as you can see in the photo above, the spine of the book is beautiful and the even the back is amazing. And that is the only reason why I bought this book. I went into this book blind, meaning that

The Warrior Heir by Cinda Williams Chima Review

Image
Hey guys, Today I will be reviewing The Warrior Heir by Cinda Williams Chima  Image found here:http://www.cindachima.com/Warrior_Heir/warrior%20heir%20cover%20full.jpg This book was very good! I read it within the span of one day and I thought that it was well done. Chime definitely took a topic that seemed really intricate and complicated and really put her ideas well down on the paper so that it was easy to understand but still interesting. I thought that the characters were interesting and they had some very real relationships. Chima's writing gave me a clear image of the setting and the events occurring throughout the book. It seemed to drag a little, but then again it didn't, those little dragging parts of the story turned out to have a significant impact on the outcome of the story, hiding tidbits of information that will be needed later in the story. I did think that the story was well executed and it kept interesting throughout the story. There were so many tw
