These Are Book Nerd Things #3, (a lot more general)
#1. They are never just words on a page.
#2. If you don't have a mental movie in your head, it is either because it is an uninteresting book, or you're doing it wrong.
#3. Watching the movie anyway.
#4. Forgetting that it is 3 AM and you should probably go to sleep because you have school/work the next day. Then you're just arguing with yourself about it, "BUT THIS BOOK!"
#5. All of a sudden hysterically laughing in the middle of class because you finished work early and you could read. Then people give you weird looks all day.
#6. Being conflicted when someone you hate has the same fandom(s)
#7. YOU ARE NOT A TRUE BOOK NERD IF YOU READ A COUPLE OF THE POPULAR BOOKS OUT OR A COUPLE OF CLASSICS! IT IS AN HONOR THAT YOU HAVE TO EARN!
#8. "I like big books and I cannot lie, those other authors can't deny."
#9. Loving to read doesn't mean that we don't have lives. It simply means that we are probably more intelligent than you, hehehehehehe... Just kidding.
#10. Pretending that you are in the world that your book is set in.
#11. Having a completely new mindset once finishing or in the middle of a book.
#12. Getting mad when people don't take your recommendations and the book gets popular like three years later.
#13. We are all accidental hipsters. If you are not, you have not been initiated as a book nerd.
#14. Bringing so many books to an author signing that you look like GusGus from Cinderella with all of the corn.
#15. Getting embarrassed for a character when they do something wrong.
