Bridgerton: The Duke and I by Julia Quinn Book Review

 Hi guys! Today I will be sharing with you my review for The Duke and I by Julia Quinn. Now. Let's be honest. I didn't go into reading this book thinking that it would be the best thing in the world and that it would be absolutely beautifully written and perfect. No. I started watching the series right when it came out and stopped after a couple of episodes because I wanted to be able to read the book first. While I'm glad that I chose to read it, my initial suspicions were correct. Not the most beautifully written book in existence or the most groundbreaking, but it was a very fun and easy read. The internal struggle within Simon with his love for Daphne and hate for his father was excellent. And I did love the family dynamic specifically between the brothers and Daphne, it was a lot of fun.  Hello everybody, Today I will be reviewing my just recently finished book, House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J Maas.  Please note that this review will contain spoilers so if you intend on reading the book you can skip to my rating at the bottom. So I got this book as a gift from my boyfriend for my birthday last year and a whopping 10 months later I finally got to it. Not having told me this before, he was worried that I wouldn't like the book because my mom had suggested it based on the author and looked up some reviews but from what she saw she didn't know how great it would be. How ever were they wrong. This was the best book I have read in a long time. It was a rollercoaster from start to finish and I must have known that it would make me cry by the fact that my initial favorite characters in the book were killed off in 60 pages.
