This was an incredibly close race between all of the candidates and it turns out that this one ended with a complete tie!

This book and What Light by Jay Asher were so close in the running for best contemporary, but in the end, Morgan Matson won it with her book The Unexpected Everything!

I haven't personally read this book or many Cassandra Clare's novels, but I do know that a multitude of you highly enjoy her writing so Im sure that many of you will be happy with this winner!
